I'm looking for help on how to change the headlight bulb. It's the type with a 'jewelled' ball over the bulb. From behind, I tried to remove the rubber boot but the power connector sits right in it and I can't find a way to get it off. There are no clips on the power connector to push/squeeze to pull it out.
This may seem like a rather ridiculous posting for this site, so if I'm misusing it, please let me know. But I'm a single mom trying not to be dependent on the very expensive Scion dealership for the small things.

Hey single mom I'm proud of you for tackling this.

Grab the bulb from the back and twist it 1/4 turn. From there it should just pull straight back. Sometimes they are a little sticky but it will come out. It's pretty fast once you have done it a few times.
Maybe if you went to the parts store when it isn't very busy you could ask one of the peole to show you how it connects.
